Beautiful country style kitchen and nice garden to relax in, loved the coal fire. Hosts are really informative and left a lovely starter pack, eggs, milk, bread, and butter nice touch. Nice modern bedding and helpful owner.
It felt a little bit too rustic - more like unfinished! Holes in the floors and ceiling - and rooms smelt rather musty.

Fantastic property! Great property with everything you needed to make your stay perfect. The house is beautifully furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new with everything you could need. The back garden is beautiful, set out in a cottage design. We loved sitting out in the garden in the evenings with a drink and the dog playing in the garden. There is a nice sun lounge which we didn't use as it was very warm weather outside. Welcome pack of bread, eggs, milk & butter left for us plus tea, coffee & sugar was available. Fantastic communication with the owners regarding getting into the property & the parking etc. The log burner was going ready for our arrival and the little touches like the bread milk eggs waiting for us was a lovely touch. Excellent location and a lovely village pub down the road. Close to where we wanted to be. Couldn’t fault it one bit. A big thank you to Lynne.
Perfect stay but nothing was great. It felt a little bit too rustic - more like unfinished!

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Lovely garden, made me feel like a modern Lady of the Manor. The terrace was a great spot for my evening G&T. The free WiFi allowed me to post snarky reviews about the place.
Hairy spiders and musty smell. I didn't know I was signing up for a creepy-crawly adventure.

The property was in a great location, close to many attractions and activities. The size of the property was also a big plus, providing plenty of space for our group. It was a nice touch to have bread, milk, eggs, and other essentials already provided in the kitchen upon our arrival. Additionally, the early availability of the property was a pleasant surprise and allowed us to settle in comfortably.
The access road, which was quite narrow and had a sharp turn. However, the owner had forewarned us about this, so it wasn't a complete surprise.
